The Episcia Temptation—often called a Flame Violet—is a stunning, trailing gesneriad prized for its metallic-tinged leaves and vibrant blooms. The foliage typically shimmers with deep purple-pink hues and rich silver markings, outlined by darker margins. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light (about 8–10 hours/day), though it can adapt to lower light; avoid direct sun, which may scorch the leaves. It prefers consistently moist—never waterlogged—soil; water when the top inch of substrate feels dry, using lukewarm, filtered water to prevent leaf spotting.
